The center includes a permanent exhibition, which presents mainly characteristic elements of the existing natural heritage in the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve, a public aquarium and various temporary exhibitions. In a setting that faithfully reproduces specific habitats of the Danube Delta and the Razim-Sinoie Lagoon Complex, as well as other protected areas of national importance in Dobrogea Plateau, such as Macinului Mountains National Park.

The museum has 27 pools and dioramas in which the ecosystems of northern Dobrogea are reconstructed and which illustrate the fish fauna of the Danube Delta and the Black Sea, to which are added exotic fish. The water kingdom, populated by hundreds of exotic fish in enchanting colors, fascinates the little ones. Sharks, clownfish, Chinese fish, corals and starfish complete the dream setting. There is a cylindrical aquarium in the middle of which you can enter as if you were diving into the depths of a large population of enchanting creatures, as well as a glass tunnel under the largest pool (45 tons) that houses sturgeons.
